The following photos are of a statue repair I am doing which includes sanding and repairing of cracks as best as possible, and some repainting. Statue is definitely an antique, but not sure how old it is exactly. It is carved wood, with a plaster overlay. Over the years the plaster has cracked, and it had been repaired in the past, with several coats of tempura paint. Hopefully, sanding and the use of a quality acrylic paint will seal this better, along with a final matte finish clear acrylic coating. Statue is about 2 1/2 feet in height.
